Web Site Evaluation Exercise (4-6 paragraphs)

For this exercise,  find  and evaluate a Web site that presents information that you find interesting.

Evaluate the Web site in terms of unity, clarity and economy.

Unity--Is the site unified?  Is it logically organized? Is it consistent in use of textual and graphical elements?
How does the site establish consistency?  Is there a metaphor, a consistent color scheme, a consistent tone?
When and how is contrast used?  Is it effective?

Clarity--Is the organization clear?  Is the language clear and precise? Is it clear what information is available and how to access it?  Is the navigation clear? Is it always clear where you are on the site?

Economy--Is the site cluttered or uncluttered? Is the language economical?   Do the design elements call attention to themselves, or do they seem natural?
