Portfolio assignment #2

Create a Web page with graphics and publish it to your Web site.  You can do another version of the first portfolio project, as long as you make some changes besides adding graphics.  Any graphics are fine--clipart, photos, illustrations, etc.
It is standard practice to create a subfolder for your HTML files and a subfolder for the graphics that your Web pages contain.  Usually this graphics subfolder is called "images."  So if you create this images subfolder on your hard drive, you will need to also create an "images" subfolder on the host site to which you transfer your Web pages.

Note: It is not legal to use copyrighted images without permission. You can't legally copy photographs or other images from someone else's Web site to use in your own.

Here is collection of clipart links (opens in new window).
The Icon Bank--a searchable databaseworld.gif (1170 bytes)
XARA Modules--a Web site for creating your own text2.gif (730 bytes) (you can save them to your own hard drive or use the HTML that you are given to incorporate them into your Web pages)

Here is an online GIF image editor called GIFWorks.

Please let me know if you would like more directions on finding graphics on the Web.

Keep a log of the design decisions that you make and e-mail it to me.

This assignment is worth 10 points.
